Our Journey Thus Far
Sept 2002-started dating my future husband
Aug 2007-Finally engaged!
Oct 2008-Married!!
Dec 24, 2008--tossed birth control out of the window
end of January 2009--decided not to try, but not to prevent
Feb 2009--BFP #1!
end of March 2009--first ultrasound at nine weeks. baby measured 6w2d, no heartbeat.
Apr 2009--took Cytotec to induce miscarriage at home
June 2009--BFP#2!!
June 2009--6 days later, started bleeding spontaneously
early August 2009--BFP#3!!!
end of August 2009--early US showed empty sac. Repeated US one week later, bigger sac, but no embryo. Took Cytotec again.
September 2009--followup US showed retained products of conception...more Cytotec.
September 2009--one week later, still had some retained products. Still getting postive preg test. D&C scheduled
September 2009--day before D&C, US showed everything had cleared. HCG had dropped to zero.
October 2009--full workup including HSG, semen analysis--everything basically negative (OB saw ?scar tissue near right fallopian tube on HSG)
November 2009--saw RE, who didn't have much to say. Thought HSG was OK. Said we could try again whenever we wanted. Casually mentioned progesterone as something we could try next time.
end of November 2009--tried again with progesterone suppositories...
Dec 2009--first BFN:(
Jan 8 2010--BFP!!
Sept 17 2010--Delivered a healthy baby boy!!!
